Sleeping has been my obsession and my fear for a year. We sleep a third of our lives and it is as necessary to survive as eating or protecting ourselves from bad weather. Because of the noise of the street and my anxiety every time it was harder for me to sleep, and not sleeping increased my anxiety, I went to bed with fear, and that made trying to sleep even harder, creating an endless circle that I could finally manage to get out, although I still don’t know how.

For a year I’ve been living in a semi-conscious state where the world of dreams and the real world would mix up from time to time. My fears were more pronounced and had a human face, my wishes painted with shapes and colours the daily moments.

The four songs of the EP are related to four recurrent themes in the dreams and nightmares I had during the day: the distance, the journey, the encounter and the memory.

Dormir ha sido mi obsesión y mi miedo durante un año. Dormimos un tercio de nuestras vidas y es igual de necesario para sobrevivir que comer o protegerse del frío. Entre el ruido de la calle y mi ansiedad cada vez me costaba más dormir, no dormir me generaba ansiedad, llegaba a la cama con miedo, y hacía que me costara aún más conciliar el sueño generando un circulo vicioso del que he terminado pudiendo salir, aunque todavía no sé muy bien cómo.

Durante un año he vivido en un estado de semi-consciencia donde el mundo de los sueños y el mundo real se podían llegar a cruzar y confundir. Mis miedos se acentuaban y tenían cara y ojos, mis deseos pintaban con formas y colores los momentos más rutinarios.

Las cuatro canciones del EP hacen referencia a cuatro temas recurrentes en los sueños y pesadillas que tenía durante el día: la distancia, el viaje, el encuentro y el recuerdo.
